I Went Quiet. This Is Why.

A few days of nothing posted. I know how that looks — especially after the entry where I said I was watching for the pattern. Two weeks of everything, then nothing for a month. I said I was watching for it. Then the silence happened anyway.

But it wasn't that.

I got into something. A project, an idea — something that's going to support the Smile More community. I can't say what it is yet. I want to keep it until it's ready. Half-built things explained too early — they don't land. Either it makes sense when it's done or it doesn't.

First two or three days I kept asking myself — is this actually making sense? The excitement fades on day two and the doubt comes in. Is this real, or is this just another thing I'm going to abandon? I caught myself a few times. Told myself to keep going.

Now it's different. Completely different.

I locked myself in the room after work. Not much sleep. I don't care about that. I was building something I actually give a fuck about — not for money, not for anyone, just because it's the thing in front of me that I want to exist. And that feeling — the one where I'm exhausted but I don't want to stop — I've missed that.

The routine held. Exercise. Main job finished on time, not staying over. The second job can wait a bit. It'll come back when it needs to. Right now this gets the time.

What I keep noticing — and I'm writing this down before it fades — is how different it feels to work on something I chose. Not because I have to, not because it pays the bills. Because I wanted it to exist. Even exhausted. Even not sure it'll land. The feeling is just different.

I hope it'll be worth it when it comes out. I think it will.

A couple of weeks. It's free. That's all I'm saying for now.

Still here. Never done.
