Phone Pocket in a Hoodie.

Concept render of a dark blue hoodie with a subtle ZeroWic pattern inside the cuff

Where do you put your phone?

I mean it. I used to have a little case on the belt. Covered, clipped on, done. Then phones turned into plates and the belt thing became a joke. Trousers, unless they're the army kind with the side pockets, don't take it. Hoodies, which I live in, have one big pocket at the front and the phone either pulls the whole thing sideways or falls out when I bend down.

It's a small problem. It's also a problem nobody's properly answered, and it's been bothering me for years.

The idea

A hoodie with a safe place for the phone. A pocket that holds it where it doesn't drag one side down, doesn't show, and doesn't fall out. A secret pocket, if you like, but mostly just a sensible one. Maybe the same thinking for trousers later. Maybe other pieces. I don't know yet.

The brand would live inside it, not on it. Nothing loud on the chest. A pattern inside the cuff, a small tag at the back of the neck, that's the lot.

First look. The logo pattern is inside the cuff, where only the person wearing it sees it.
Concept render: light blue hoodie with the same pattern inside the cuff
Same idea, lighter. Colour is not decided. Nothing is decided.

Where it's at

Sketches for the pocket exist. They're not finished and I'm not publishing them yet. There is no product, no shop, no date. This page exists because I've lost too many ideas by not writing them down, and I'm not losing this one.

Will I make it one day? Honestly, I don't know. Right now it's a note with pictures. If it grows, this page grows with it.

And a real question, because I'd like to know: do you have the same problem? Where does your phone go when you're wearing what you wear? If you've solved it, or if you want the hoodie, say hello.
